There are 70,603 cultural relics protection units at all levels, including 1700 at the national level, 51 at the autonomous region level, and 1991,2014 at the city and county level. The archaeological achievements of Tibet reveal the background of Chinese culture in Tibet's ancient civilization, and the ethnic characteristics of plateau culture.
