Zan law, zero net artificialization, passed in 2023 is being deployed. The goal of this 2023 law was to halve, then stop by 2050, the artificialization of land.
The most ironic part of the affair is that the elected official who raised the alarm, Jean-François Portarrieu, himself voted for the law. He does not regret it, he says, he is even proud of it... But he still asked this question to the Government last week in the Assembly.
