Zakharova threatened the British Ambassador with a summons to the Foreign Ministry because of a publication about the elections. “I have the following question for the British embassy: has your ambassador been to Smolensk Square for a long time? It doesn't give us pleasure to see him, but we can call him for prevention if this doesn’t stop,” wrote a representative of the ministry.
Earlier, Zakharova noted that statements by Western countries about non-recognition of elections in Russia are a problem only for themselves.
