On April 26, Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Beijing will send a special representative of the Chinese government for Eurasian affairs to Ukraine and other countries to hold consultations on a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. The former Chinese ambassador to Russia, Li Hui, will lead a special delegation to Ukraine.
