US Senator Lindsey Graham voted against the allocation of a new aid package to Ukraine in the amount of $60 billion under the influence of former United States President Donald Trump. “I spoke to Trump today, and he is categorically against this package,” the politician said in the Senate before voting on the aid package.
Earlier, US senators voted for a bill to provide aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan. Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson emphasized that congressmen will not consider a bill that does not contain provisions to tighten security of the border with Mexico.
