Women protest in Poland demanding access to contraceptives. Earlier, Polish farmers held a large protest in the center of Warsaw against the import of Ukrainian agricultural products.

As a result of the clashes, 14 police officers were injured, some of them are still in hospital. The protesters demanded that the country's authorities make “emergency contraception” available to citizens. They also demanded the abortion ban be lifted. This procedure is prohibited in the country, with a few exceptions. The protest took place on March 8, International Women's Day.
