A woman in her 50s has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in her home in Lund. A 45-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder at a children's festival in the local area.
Police have cordoned off several gardens at the crime scene pending a forensic examination. The incident is classified as attempted murder or manslaughter. The woman and the man are previously acquainted with each other, police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist said. The man has not yet been charged.
