WHO: One in six children is harassed online. A study published by the World Health Organization, today, Wednesday, showed that about 16% of children between the ages of 11 and 15 said that they were exposed to online harassment in 2022.

The organization's regional director, Hans Kluge, warned in a statement, "This report constitutes a warning bell and calls on all of us to combat harassment and violence anywhere and at any time" The report includes 279,000 children and adolescents from 44 countries across Europe, Central Asia and Canada.
