White bread is the dream of the children of Gaza during the Israeli war. Palestinian journalist Hani Abu Rizq documented the joy of children from northern Gaza, when he presented them with a bag of white bread.
The residents of the northern Gaza Strip resorted to searching for any food that could be eaten, and they reached the point of grinding livestock and poultry feed to eat it. In the south and center of the Gaza Strip, residents face extreme difficulty in providing food supplies, as a result of the large food shortage.
