International Monetary Fund says Egypt will be able to withdraw $820 million from its loan program by end of next June. Egypt agreed last month to increase the size of the loan program to $8 billion.
The Fund's head of mission, Ivana Vladkova Hollar, said more reviews are scheduled to be completed every 6 months, and each of them will allow $1.3 billion to be disbursed. Egypt is scheduled to receive an initial payment of $820million this week.
