The intensity of Israeli incitement against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and its headquarters in occupied Jerusalem has recently escalated. On January 14, UNRWA was required to pay a retroactive debt worth 17 million shekels, claiming that buildings were constructed and used without a permit or approval from the so-called “Israel Lands Authority” On Monday evening, dozens of settlers participated in a demonstration in front of the agency’s headquarters to demand its closure.

They chanted against it and raised slogans accusing it of “terrorism” and ties with the Hamas movement.
