[HIGHLIGHTS] What do electronic chips mean for Gaza residents?

Electronic chips have become the primary means for Gazans to communicate with the outside world, or with each other when cut off. The majority of Gazans learned - for the first time - of electronic SIM cards (E-SIM) or “SIM” cards ( SIM) to stay connected to the Internet for humanitarian or professional purposes.

The mission of many Gazans in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip to obtain the Internet is not an easy task. Some of them paid with their lives as a result of the occupation army targeting them.
