The Sunday Times published an article on the upcoming Ukrainian counter-offensive. Russia specialist Professor Mark Galeotti spoke of the many challenges facing Ukrainians.
Galeotti said the Ukrainians were moving quickly to accommodate 230 new Western tanks and 1550,<> armored vehicles in Kiev's Western military supplies. But they still lacked the air defenses needed to launch any major offensive, putting their forces at risk of Russian aerial bombardment. The West is now working to increase its ammunition production capacity, but that will take months or even years.
