Springpride was organized in Eskilstuna for the 15th year on Saturday. The parade was inaugurated by former professional football striker Kim Arodin.
Kim believes that acceptance is important for LGBTQI+ people, including transgender people, to feel inclusion in society. The festival was organized for the first time in 2007 and is one of the longest running parades in Sweden. During the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021, the festival had a hiatus.
