Satellite images show massive destruction affecting entire residential blocks in the Hamad Residential City in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip. According to eyewitnesses, the scenes resembled the destruction after an atomic bomb was dropped.
The pictures reveal the total or partial destruction of more than 32 residential buildings in the city, which consists of only 53 residential buildings. The footage also shows extensive bulldozing inside this city, in addition to the presence of a number of vehicles in its vicinity. The Gaza Strip has been subjected to a continuous Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, which has caused major destruction to housing and infrastructure.
