Washington offers a reward for the arrest of Ahmed Haroun on charges of committing war crimes in Darfur. Haroun was Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs in the Omar al-Bashir regime and governor of South Kordofan State.

He was arrested along with many leaders in the Bashir regime after the latter’s overthrow in April 2019. US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said in a statement - yesterday, Monday - "It is important to find Haroun and bring him to the International Criminal Court to answer the charges against him"
