Washington is investigating Israel's use of white phosphorus in Gaza and Lebanon. The Wall Street Journal said that the US State Department is investigating allegations that the Israeli Air Force used white phosphorus.
The newspaper, which quoted American officials, explained that the investigation aims to determine whether the weapons provided by the United States to Israel were used incorrectly to kill civilians. Last October, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry accused Israel of using white phosphorus to bomb densely populated areas in the Gaza Strip. The founder and head of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Observatory, Rami Abdo, also published the same clip on the Human Rights Watch.
