16 people, including civilians, were killed and 25 others were injured as a result of the American bombing on the Akashat and Al-Qaim regions in the east of the country. The Syrian Foreign Ministry said that the American strikes on its territory are dangerously fueling the conflict in the region.
Iran considered it an open and declared aggression against Syria and Iraq and strikes. For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the US strikes on Iraq and Syria and said it would respond negatively.
