Russian shelling killed at least three civilians and injured three others in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Donetsk regions of east-central, southern and eastern Ukraine. In the east, nearly 200 people, including 21 children, were evacuated from villages close to the front due to intense fighting.

The Ukrainian Air Force also claimed on Saturday to have shot down 12 Iranian-made Shahed drones, out of a total of 15 launched by Russia in the Donetsk and Poltava regions.
