U.S. State Department's Special Representative for the Western Balkans said the West could put pressure on Pristina to fulfill its obligations.

About 500 Turkish troops from Turkey's 65th Motorized Rifle Brigade will make up the bulk of NATO's reinforcements to the region. The U.S.-led NATO mission to Kosovo is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The mission will be led by the commander of the 65th Rifle Brigade, Lt. Gen. Cmdr. David Petraeus. The NATO mission has been in place since 2008, but has not been fully implemented.
