[HIGHLIGHTS] Von der Leyen talks about China after his visit to China: China-EU relations are too important!

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen addressed members of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Borrell said the EU needed to recalibrate its China strategy.

In 2022, China was the EU's largest source of imports and the third largest buyer of EU goods, according to Eurostat. The EU is not worried about China's rise, because they know that the history of the future world will depend on how China uses its power, Borrell wrote.
