Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied "any legitimacy" to the sham elections in Russia. Putin secured another term as Russian ruler in an unrivaled election.

The team of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, who died in Russian custody, also criticized the results. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier will not, as usual, congratulate Russian President Vladimir Putin on his further term in office. Observers classified the vote as undemocratic because no real opposition candidates were allowed.
