State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin called for the destruction of the “geeks’ who committed the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall. “The degenerates who committed this monstrous terrorist attack must be destroyed,” he said on Telegram.
At least 40 people were killed and more than 100 people were injured in the shooting and fire at the city hall on March 22. After the incident, security measures were strengthened at the capital's airports. Russian Railways also took additional measures.
