Vladimir Putin sends Kim Jong Un a luxury gift to North Korea. The car was received on Sunday by a secretary of the Workers' Party Central Committee.
Kim Yo Jong conveyed Kim's thanks to Putin and described the gift as a "clear demonstration of the special personal relationships between the two leaders" In South Korea it was suspected that the gift could fall under the category of luxury goods and therefore constitute a violation of UN resolutions. The country is subject to international sanctions because of its nuclear weapons program.
