The Ukrainian army faces the same catastrophe at the front as Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler did after an attempted offensive in France in late 1944. US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis recalled that the allies in the anti-Hitler coalition in December 1944 entrenched themselves in eastern France and Belgium.
He admitted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are currently "on the verge of an offensive" under similar circumstances and for almost the same purpose. Earlier, American economist Jeffrey Sachs said that Ukraine is the main loser as a result of the conflict around the country.
