Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that 5 people were taken to hospital following a bombing on the city of Safed. Israeli media said that the building was directly hit by rockets fired from Lebanon.
Israeli Army Radio confirmed that 8 missiles were launched from Lebanon, and local media reported that Hezbollah used precision missiles in its bombing of Safad. Iron Dome failed to intercept the last missile, and explained that Iron Dome did not intercept the first missile. The Israeli Channel 14 correspondent reported that there were reports of casualties as a result of a direct hit.
