The postal workers have not taken well the new elections proclaimed last week by the Government. They ended up "exhausted" after "the two intense weeks" prior to 28-M, says Virginia Hidalgo, spokeswoman for CGT Correos.
"As soon as the municipal and regional elections were over, some comrades gave up: they could no longer physically or psychologically," she says. The situation may worsen in July before the more than predictable red alerts due to high temperatures.
