Sukhoi Design Bureau has tested a prototype of a heavy vertical take-off and landing UAV. It is assumed that the range of the device will reach 500 km, and the payload capacity will be 300 kg.
The drone is intended for use in the transport services market. According to analysts, cargo delivery using autonomous robots is now one of the main trends in the development of UAVs. The device does not require specially prepared sites and airfield infrastructure for takeoff and landing.
