At least one person died and nine others were injured in shootings this Wednesday, February 14, during the parade in Kansas City celebrating the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory. Tens of thousands of people gathered in the streets of Kansas City for the parade of the Kansas Chiefs, winners of the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The shooting left at least one dead and nine injured. Three of them are in critical condition and five in serious condition, said a fire department spokesperson. About 49,000 people died from gunshots in 2021, compared to 45,000 in 2020, which was already a record year.
