United Kingdom: anti-Semitic acts at a level not seen in 40 years. The organization sees this as a direct link to the ongoing war in Gaza.
Since October 7 and the start of the war between Israel and Hamas, many Jews in the United Kingdom have reported an increase in anti-Semitism. The Conservative government and the Labor opposition have condemned these trends and promised intransigence vis-à-vis anti-Jewish hatred. The Community Security Trust (CST), a Jewish community organization which protects religious events and sensitive places such as Jewish schools and synagogues, recorded 4,103 anti- Jewish hate incidents in 2023.
