Around 800 tonnes of sawdust have been transported to the pellet factory in Sveg. Researchers hope to be able to show that different sawdust can affect the quality of the pellets.

Depending on, among other things, gas formation and temperatures, the pellets can fall apart after production. It then becomes unusable and cannot be resold. The significance of the drying method is also being investigated. Of Sweden's 53 existing pellet factories, SveG is unique in its kind with its high temperature during drying.
