The Osaka Restoration Association won a double election for governor and mayor in Osaka, and in the Nara gubernatorial election. In the gubernatorial election in Nara Prefecture, the first governor outside of Osaka to be officially recognized by the Restoration was born.

In addition, it won majorities in both the Osaka Prefectural Assembly and the City Council for the first time. The LDP won 2260,1153 seats out of 40,1 seats, securing a majority of the total seats in 41 prefectural assembly elections.
