Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Alexander Kubrakov said that Kyiv will begin official negotiations with American and European regulators. Last April, the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation announced that the airspace of Russia and Ukraine would remain closed to flights to Europe until 2029.

The minister added that there are not many examples of civil air services operating in armed conflict. Israel is the most successful model, according to the minister. The negotiations are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
