Ukraine war: France promises more wheeled tanks and missiles. France has supplied Ukraine with military material worth around 2.6 billion euros since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression.
Russia's army is now increasingly targeting the Ukrainian energy infrastructure in order to paralyze the population's supply of electricity and heat. The armored vehicles, first used by France in the 1970s, were scheduled to be handed over to Ukraine in 2024 and early 2025. In addition, further Aster-type missiles are to be delivered for the SAMP/T air defense system.
