Ukraine's Ministry of Defense said that Russia is "trying to destroy the city" in the fierce battlefield in the east of the country. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine pointed out that the Russian side is continuing operations to defend the controlled area in southern Ukraine.
Prime Minister Abe reiterated his readiness to embark on a reversal offensive to retake the territory, while being wary of new attacks by the Russian military. He also expressed his expectation for the strengthening of military support from Europe and the United States.
