The Ukrainian authorities intend to block television and radio signals from Russia, Transnistria and Belarus in nine regions of the country. “The Cabinet of Ministers decided to allocate 152 million hryvnia (more than $3.9 million) from the state budget reserve fund for the deployment of a system blocking anti-Ukrainian TV and radio broadcasting in border areas,” reports the Ukrainian publication Judicial and Legal Newspaper.

Earlier, Ukraine promised to punish those responsible after showing a map of Russia and Crimea on TV.
