Ukraine announces the dismantling of a Russian spy network within its intelligence. Kiev said the suspects were caught passing information to Russia's Federal Security Service.
Ukraine has previously arrested several individuals who it said were secret Russian spies or had passed strategic information to Russian agents since the war began in February 2022. The Public Prosecutor pointed out that the five employees are former employees of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence and its foreign intelligence units, in addition to a current employee of the agency, and that they were arrested on suspicion of involvement in treason.
