Ukraine: Russia buys Starlink stations in Arab countries. SpaceX, affiliated with American billionaire Elon Musk, sent Starlink internet stations via satellite to help Ukraine after the start of the war with Russia in February 2022.

Elon Musk's company says it does not deal with the Russian government or the Russian army. The stations are not certified for use in Russia and therefore cannot be used, according to the Kremlin, which says the stations are for military use and are not for civilian use. The Russian military says it is using the stations to fight in eastern Ukraine.
