The European Union approved on Wednesday February 21 a 13th package of sanctions against Russia. The sanctions in force since the invasion of Ukraine will be extended to some 200 entities and individuals.

The 13th sanctions package should be formally approved by the Twenty-Seven before the second anniversary of the Russian invasion, on February 24. A draft text, seen by AFP, planned in particular to limit the trade of EU companies with three mainland Chinese companies having supplied the Russian army. It also planned to blacklist the Minister of Defense North Korean for sending missiles to Moscow.
