U.S. appeals court rejects Trump's presidential immunity claim.

Trump was criminally charged for allegedly trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election. He was charged in this case with four counts of conspiring to defraud the state, conspiring to obstruct government proceedings, obstructing or attempting to obstruct official proceedings, and conspiring to violate civil rights. Trump believes that Trump enjoys immunity for all official acts performed while in office and is therefore immune from criminal liability. He said he disagreed with the ruling and would appeal.
