Two Hezbollah fighters were killed and there was an exchange of bombing with the occupation in southern Lebanon. In two separate statements, Hezbollah mourned two of its fighters from the town of Taybeh, saying that they "rose on the road to Jerusalem," bringing the party's death toll to 179.

Israeli army announced the killing of 9 soldiers and 6 civilians in northern Israel, adding that it was conducting land, air and sea training, in anticipation of any war in the north. At least approximately 250 people were killed in Lebanon - most of them Hezbollah fighters - including at least 26 civilians.
