Police killed two attackers who tried to attack them outside the courthouse in the country's largest city. The attack occurs in a very tense security context in Türkiye.
The Interior Ministry published the names of the two attackers, saying they belonged to the DHKP-C, a far-left armed organization. In 2015, this group had already killed a prosecutor in the same court. It is therefore a new attack in a large Turkish city less than two months before local elections in Turkey.
