Haythem El Mekki and Elyès Gharbi, two big names in Tunisian journalism, were summoned on Monday, May 22, by the Tunis anti-crime brigade. In question, remarks made on the airwaves of the radio Mosaïque FM which strongly displeased the Tunisian police.
The two journalists have been released, but investigations into them are continuing. The general manager of Radio Mosaíque FM has been imprisoned for three months on suspicion of money laundering.
