Tunisian journalists protest against the government's "repressive" policy. "We are journalists and not terrorists", chanted the demonstrators.

They were protesting against the sentencing of a journalist to five years in prison. The journalist had disclosed information about the security services' surveillance of the Tunisian capital, Tunisian media reported. Two Tunisian students were arrested on Monday for posting a satirical song on social media about the government and its crackdown on drug use. The students were released after a court ruled they had not broken any laws.
