Trial begins over extradition of WikiLeaks founder to US. Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, was charged with publishing confidential information of the US government and others on the internet.

A British court ordered Assange's extradition to the United States in 2022, but following a motion from Assange, a hearing began on the 20th at London's High Court to decide whether to appeal. More than 300 supporters gathered outside the high court to voice their opposition to the extradition, and his wife Stella told reporters: "My husband's life is in danger"
