Transnistria does not yet intend to apply for inclusion in Russia. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the unrecognized republic, Vitaly Ignatiev, said that for now the Transnistrian authorities are not going to turn to Moscow with a request to be included.

He said this when answering a question about alleged plans to make a corresponding appeal at the last congress of deputies of all levels in Transnistsria. According to him, the congress set itself the goal of drawing the attention of neighboring countries to the worsening relations between Chisinau and Tiraspol.
