The Central Bank of Russia revoked the license to carry out banking operations from QIWI Bank. The credit organization systematically violated the requirements of legislation in the field of combating the legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and the financing of terrorism.
The Central Bank assured that QI WI Bank depositors will be returned deposit amounts in the amount of 100% of the balance. The decision was made in accordance with the laws of the Russian Federation, the Central Bank said in a statement. The bank has not commented on the decision.
