[HIGHLIGHTS] Timothy Garton Ash: "I think there is no real possibility of a Russian victory"

Timothy Garton Ash (London, 1955), historian, writer and professor of European Studies at the University of Oxford. His father was among the first troops to land in Normandy.

He studied in Berlin, followed closely by Stasi agents, who never knew whether he was a simple bourgeois liberal or a British spy. He speaks of the "Post-Wall period", which began with the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989 and ended, in his opinion, on February 24, 2022.
