The social network TikTok, together with its parent company ByteDance, postponed the launch of the in-app store for users from the United States to June. The launch date may be shifted again for fear of a possible ban on the application in the US.
On March 24, White House Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that the US administration does not trust the leadership of the TikTok social network, it did not convince the American authorities, who believe that the company poses a threat to US national security.
