There have been several criminal incidents against politicians in Thuringia in the past few days. The constituency office of state parliament president Birgit Pommer was daubed with swastikas by unknown people.
Unknown people set fire to a house that apparently belongs to SPD politician Michael Müller on Monday morning. The property damage is estimated at 13,000 euros. The Left regional association co-chair Ulrike Grosse-Röthig said the attack on Pommer's office "clearly came from neo-Nazis"
